I spent a little time this morning remembering a few of the great experiences we’ve enjoyed over the last year, and feeling grateful for the opportunities. Renee and I grew even closer together as friends and in music (we also celebrated another wedding anniversary recently). We spent some incredible times on the road with friends, playing great music and meeting a lot of great people.

I’d have to say, one of the biggest events that happened was the making our current album, ‘Observatory’. We spent a lot of time working with great musicians, and they really gave incredible performances. I’m also happy to reflect on our new friendship with Lou Spirito, a gifted photographer/journalist/videographer (and web site builder). He and his wife are really special friends. We couldn’t have presented ‘Observatory’ in the way it turned out without them.

This time of year always brings special memories for us, and we hope you are enjoying some quality time with friends and family.

We’re happy to tell you our ‘Observatory Release Party/Performance‘ has been booked! Renee and I will be performing with Simon Phillips and Katisse Buckingham at the Baked Potato on January 19th. Please see the ‘Upcoming Events’ section on the lower right side for details. We’re going to play the music from this album and maybe a few from ‘Dialogue’. We’re really looking forward to this!

We have a new ‘Observatory’ video to share. This one is on the ‘lighter side’. You’ll see Simon hard at work in the studio while I take a day away to experience one of my ‘outside music’ hobbies, auto racing.

We will be posting one more video very soon that will feature one of the songs from ‘Observatory’ called ‘After’.
